Polar Bears Preschool Room (3 Years - 5 Years)

Welcome to the Polar Bears Preschool Room.

The Polar Bears Preschool is for children aged 3 to 5 years of age, preparing the children for school through play, learning and exploration.

Our experienced practitioners, Lindsey and Chelsea create a warm, stimulating and engaging enviroment where every child is supported to become confident, independent and ready for school.

The Preschool is two rooms where the children can choose which area they wish to go in. One area is for role play, reading/looking at books, quiet time, problem solving as well as choosing what they would like to do. The other area is for creative, messy play, sand & water play. Practitioners encourage the children to make their own choices as well as providing Adult Focused Activities for observations. The observations are used to assess the children's development in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.

We have a toilet and sink located near the pre-school room for the children's use as well as a mini library area which is used by all the children who attend Toddle-Inn Day Nursery. For the Preschool to opt for the garden area, they will communicate with their key person or show them the picture of the garden which is located for the children to access.

We are offering the 30 hours funding as a stretched offer, 22 hours a week for 52 weeks a year. This is set hours of 9am to 4.20pm, three days a week, subject to availability.
